Our ministry is designed to give clear, Biblical guidance to you and your family in a warm family-style environment.
First Baptist Church of Atlantic Beach has been serving the beaches and city of Jacksonville since 1945. Our focus is clear biblical teaching for all ages as we reach our community for Jesus Christ. Our Sunday school classes provide k-12 and adult classes for a more interactive learning experience. Afterwards our Sunday morning service offers praise and worship time with biblical preaching under senior pastor Greg Crocker. During Sunday morning service we provide for the kids our fun and engaging children’s church, as well as nursery services for infants and children too young for children’s church.
Baptisms This Sunday!
When: Sunday, April 28 @ 10:30AM Service
We have several people who have asked Jesus to be their Lord and Savior and the next step is following in believer’s baptism. Come celebrate with them and us, as they show their outward expression of the inward change when we put our trust in The Lord Jesus Christ! Following the service, we will go to the Little Jetties for an additional baptism.
Anchor Academy Food Distribution
When: Thursday, May – TBD
Join us as we impact the community by coming along side and assisting Anchor Academy as they distribute needed food items to the community. We participate 2 Thursday’s each month. We hope to see you there.
Men’s Breakfast
When: Saturday, May – TBD
Where: Penman Diner [Directions]
Come and join us for our monthly men’s breakfast. It is a wonderful time for fellowship and meeting new people. All are welcome to come and join, not just members. We hope to see you there!
May Revival
When: May 5 – 7
Pray specifically for these men of God, as they bring the message. Patrick Coats, Doyle Harper, Rick Baldwin, and Tim Maynard. We have also began taking up a special offering to honor these men of God. Please give generously and joyously. Giving can be done in person using our blue envelops (please write for “May Revival” on envelops) or online on our Giving page (use “Revival Offering” option).
